Egyptian Revival remake

Egyptian Revival purses of the 1920's were distinctive and diverse. The Art Deco age was just beginning and industrialization was transforming  everyday culture. Materials such as celluloid were developed with new technologies.

The beading in this bag was loose and free, the fringe was long and moved with ease.  Think roaring 20's. This bag had pizazz, but age has taken its toll. It is currently in the process of being repaired and transformed. Watch this page for the remake of a wonderful part of history!

      ready to be repaired

Awaiting transformation. The frame and fringe will change, the missing beads will be repaired
